Luca Paolo Virgilio is one of the most exciting winemakers in Abruzzo. Working high in the wild mountains of the Gran Sasso National Park, Luca Paolo is reclaiming wild lands that have not been farmed since the era of the Romans (and their stone winemaking ruins still can be found on the farm). This Montepulciano is one of purity of this high elevation vineyard. Fermented in stainless steel to provide an unalterated vantage of this stunning terroir.
